BookStrand.com's gifting feature allows you to give your
friends and contacts specific titles that you think they'll enjoy.
Additionally, the gift history makes it easy for you to tell when
they've accessed it--and to manage all your remaining gifts.
And claiming gifted books is fast and easy.
Search for the book you'd like to gift in the search bar in the left hand corner of the screen. Click on the button labeled
Gift Book. The gift has now been added to your cart.
Navigate your cart. Here, you can decide how many copies of each book
you'd like to gift. To change the number of gifts you want to purchase for each book, just type in the new quantity in the field next to
Add Gift to Cart.
Checkout as usual.
After you have completed your purchase, click on the StrandBucks and
Gifts tab of your account. Click on Your Gifting
History. Here, you’ll see a list of your gifted titles.
To send codes to your friends, click the down arrow next to your desired
title. A list of codes will appear. Each code represents one gift or
download of the title.
Send the gift to a friend by clicking on the Email this Code
button. Enter your friend's email address in the Recipient E-mail Address
field that appears. Click Send.
Your friend will be sent an email with the code so that they can redeem
it and access your gift!
Click on the StrandBucks and Gifts tab of your
account. Click on Your Gifting
History. Here, you’ll see a list of your gifted titles.
Once you have sent a gift, the status will change from
Not Yet Redeemed to
Redeemed.
Log into your BookStrand.com account. Click on the
StrandBucks
and Gifts tab.
Copy the code from your email and paste it in the field next to Redeem
Gift Code. Click the Redeem Gift Code button.
