The Kobo can read EPUBs and PDFs (Adobe Acrobat).
Drag and drop on a Windows computer
- Connect your eReader to your computer using the USB cable.
- For a Wireless or original Kobo eReader select Manage Library.
- Press the center of the Navigation pad.
- For a Kobo eReader Touch, tap Connect.
- Windows should automatically detect your eReader.
- When prompted, click Open folder to view files.
- A window should open displaying the contents of your eReader.
- Open another Explorer window.
- Navigate to where you stored the books or documents (in EPUB or PDF format) that you want to move to your eReader.
- Drag those files to the eReader window.
- Windows will copy these files to your eReader.
- You can now eject and disconnect your eReader and read your new items.
Drag and drop on a Macintosh computer
- Connect your eReader to your computer using the USB cable.
- For a Wireless or original Kobo eReader select Manage Library.
- Press the center of the Navigation pad.
- For a Kobo eReader Touch, tap Connect.
- On your Macintosh computer, open Finder.
- Select KOBOeReader from your list of devices.
- Finder will display the contents of your eReader.
- Open another Finder window and navigate to where you stored the books or documents (in EPUB or PDF format) that you want to move to your eReader.
- Drag those files to the eReader window.
- Finder will copy these files to your eReader.
- You can now eject and disconnect your eReader and read your new items.
