BookStrand.com allows you to sign up to receive alerts via e-mail when new books are released by your favorite authors.
Log in using your existing BookStrand.com account.
Search for an author by selecting Author under Search by in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Type in the author’s name in the box below. Click Search. This will take you to the author’s page on
BookStrand.com.
Under the author’s name, you will see the option to be notified of the author’s newest releases. Click on it.
A screen will appear to let you know that you have subscribed to receive alerts for this author. The next time a book by this author is put up
on the site, you will receive an email with a link to view the book and pre-order or purchase a copy.
You may view all your author alerts and remove unwanted ones, through your account. To do this, make sure
that you are logged into your account and then click on the My Account tab in the upper right hand part of the screen. Now click on
Authors.
Here you will see a list of all the author alerts you have subscribed to. You will also have the option to remove any author alerts you do not want by clicking the Remove button next to their name.
