Read eBooks on My PC

You can read PRC (Mobipocket) formats using Kindle for PC.

1. Download and install the Kindle for PC application.
2. Purchase a PRC from BookStrand.com using your computer and save it locally.
3. Open the Kindle for PC application on your PC.
4. Using the navigation pane, select Tools > Options. In the Options menu panel, select Content.
5. Click Change Folder and select the folder on your PC where you have saved your files.

The title should now appear in the application on screen. It will be saved in your library after opening, and new eBooks saved in the designated folder on your PC will appear any time you open the Kindle for PC application.

You can read ePUB and PDF formats using Nook for PC.

1. Download and install the Nook for PC application.
2. Purchase an ePUB or PDF from BookStrand.com and save it locally.
3. Open the Nook for PC application on your PC.
4. Click the side arrow on the middle of the left hand side to view your navigation panel.
5. On the navigation panel, click on my library. Then click on my stuff.
6. Click on the Add New Item button on the top of the screen.
7. Browse to find the location where you have saved your books, and select the eBooks you would like to add. The books will now appear in the my stuff portion of the application. Click on the title to read them.

You can read ePUB and PDF (Adobe Acrobat) formats using Adobe Digital Editions.

1. Download and install Adobe Digital Editions.
2. Purchase an ePUB from BookStrand.com and save it locally.
3. Open the Adobe Digital Editions application on your PC.
4. Select the Library dropdown from the top of the screen. Select Add Item to Library.
5. Navigate to the folder where you have saved your files and select the eBooks you would like to add. Click Open.

The title should now appear in the application on screen and will be saved in your library after opening.

You can read PRC (Mobipocket) formats using Mobipocket Reader.

1. Download and install Mobipocket Reader.
2. Purchase a PRC from BookStrand.com using your computer and save it locally.
3. Open the Mobipocket Reader application on your PC.
4. In the Bookshelf navigation pane on the left hand side of the screen, click on eBooks.
5. Drag the eBook from its location on your computer and drop it onto the screen.

The title should now appear in the application on screen and will be saved in your library after opening.

You can read PDF (Adobe Acrobat) formats using Adobe Reader.

1. Download and install Adobe Reader.
2. Purchase a PDF from BookStrand.com and save it locally.
3. Open Adobe Reader on your PC.
4. Select File > Open, and browse for the saved location on your computer. The file will open on your computer.
