INTERVIEW
Q: How long did it take you to write this book?
A: It took me approximately one year. Although I didn’t write
everyday, I sometimes went on writing sprees that lasted all
night.
Q: Why did you write about the Revolutionary War?
A: When I was younger I tended to be an American History buff.
My father would take me to different battlefields of both the
Revolutionary and Civil War. I always liked the time period due
to the uniqueness of the era.
Q: Why did you want to write a book
A: I love to read romance novels and historical romance is one
of my favorite. I always felt that many of the American History
ones showed only one side of the story and that usually was from
the American standpoint. I wanted to write one from the British
perspective. I also have a unique imagination where stories would
pop into my head and I’d daydream about them. So, why not put it
on paper?
Q: What inspires you to write?
A: I really don’t have a concrete answer to that question. I sit
in front of the computer and type it out from my head. The words
just flow to my fingertips (sorry to be so corny, but it is what
it is). There are some days I don’t feel like writing at all,
and others where I feel I could write all day.
